Essential to Ms. Jamali’s clinical experience is her philosophy of growth evolving around the facts that human beings are rational by nature, knowledge is based on experimental results, life’s meaning is to be found in individuals and that reality gains meaning through one’s personal explanation of experiences.
Her practice focuses on helping individuals to understand and develop a greater awareness of their struggle through cognitive, affective, behavioural and systematic intervention strategies that address wellness, personal growth and pathology.
Clients acquire a new perception of their issues and learn to employ more effective ways of responding, verbally and behaviorally to problematic situations.
Ms. Jamali employs an integrative model of treatment including psychodynamic, schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavioural therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Throughout her clinical experience, Ms. Jamali has worked in the areas of personality disorders, mood disorders, interpersonal and social issues, adjustment difficulties with transition and family issues.
Ronak Jamali strives towards the understanding of the relationship where each client is characterized by their inner world and language that requires a unique approach tailored for each client to accommodate their personal growth.
